Artist Statement

I'm a contemporary mixed media artist based in the Chicago area, and a mom who finds her way back to the studio every chance I get. My work is rooted in emotion and intuition — layered with collage, acrylic, watercolor, and ink until something true emerges.

I studied Illustration and Design in Chicago and spent years building a professional creative career — starting as a graphic designer and growing into gift product illustration and character design for major retailers, including original character lines and exclusive holiday collections. I've done freelance work for well-known brands, spent six years in the video game industry, and yes, I once drew caricatures at Six Flags. Every chapter sharpened something. The foundation I built across all of it still quietly shapes everything I make today.
